Hello everyone! Beth and Vienna are incredibly proud to announce that they have been nominated and deemed the winner of the Independent Citizen Award!
Each year WNY Independent Living honors a member of the disability community with an award called the Independent Citizen Award. This award is given to someone who has shown support, assistance and inspiration to others while demonstrating the five core values of the award.
We would like to acknowledge that without you and your incredible support of our Unique Theatre Company this would not be possible. We are proud to be a part of a caring community of people who seek the same dreams: independence, integration and community involvement for all.
Should you want to be with us on the night of the event we would like to invite you to our Night for Independence Gala as we accept the award!
The Night for Independence Gala will be on Saturday May 12, 2018 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Classics V Banquet Center on Niagara Falls Blvd. This event will not only show case the Independent Citizen award winners but is also a fundraiser for the WNY Independent Living Inc. transportation department, Independence Express, which provides rides to people with disabilities.
Unique Theatre Company is proud to announce that we are in collaboration with Starlight Studio and Art Gallery. Starlight and Unique Theatre are currently hard at work in early development of HOT ROCK HOTEL a play written by Dana Graap of Starlight Studio and Art Gallery. The debut will be at the Alleyway Theatre in November 2018. Stand by for auditions later this year as we look for actors. Volunteers will also be needed for ushering, costumes, make-up and ticket sales! 😁👏

All performances are taking place at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) located at 2640 N. Forest Road Getzville, NY 14068. Doors open 30 minutes prior to show start. Tickets available online or at the door. Acceptable forms of payment include: cash, check, credit card, and PayPal.
Our Opening Night / Annual Fundraiser takes place Thursday August 17th from 5:30pm-9:00pm. Please join us as we enjoy hors d’oeuvres, 50/50, basket raffle, silent auction, and one on one with the 2 Love cast & crew from 5:30-7:00. Show starts promptly at 7:30pm. $60.00
Additional performances take place Saturday 8/19 at 2pm & 7:30pm and closing performance is Sunday 8/20 at 2pm. General seating tickets for the Saturday and Sunday performances are $20.00.

2 Love is an evening celebrating love. In Lament For Joe, Lee Allan Hartlieb writes a wedding that is strangely interrupted causing a love to be lost and then found. Julia Harris’s play, The Contest, speaks to the kind of love that sits right underneath your nose but sometimes it takes an accident and a dance before the realization hits. In between both plays there is a monologue of love ideas and quotes. The evening is full of comedy, surprise and romance!
